Coping was Kaiya's first short film which she wrote, directed and acted in at the age of 17. Coping was a TROPFEST 2013 finalist and Kaiya had the pleasure of winning 'Best Female Actor' Award. The film also stars Angourie Rice, Ditch Davey, Hamish Lee and Ruby the dog.
