2018 Acting Showreel
Kaiya has just completed her Masters in Professional Acting at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the UK, receiving standout reviews for her work as Gabriella in the final theatre production of Caryl Churchill’s Mad Forest.
She is best known to audiences for her role as Sophie Ramsay on Neighbours, Australia’s longest running serial. Proving a firm favourite on the show, she was a regular face on Ramsay Street for four years.
Kaiya also played the key role of Matilda in Network Ten’s Party Tricks (2015), opposite Rodger Corser and Asher Keddie.
At only 17 year’s of age, Kaiya turned her attention to directing and writing, reaching Tropfest 2013’s top 16 films and receiving support, Australia-wide, for her debut short film, Coping, which also won her the Best Female Actor Award. Her most recent short film Jolly Roger (2016) toured Australia with Flickerfest and was selected for Virgin Australia’s in-flight entertainment earlier this year.
Kaiya’s other screen credits include a lead guest role in the ABC’s Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (2013), The Doctor Blake Mysteries (2016) and several short films.
Kaiya is back in Melbourne working on audiobooks, ABC's Harrow, mentoring young actors and working on a feature film.
